Actions create consequential companies.

About

Actions Capital is a seasoned pre-seed venture capital firm, that works alongside founders from Day 0. We back founders with purpose, grit, and urgency to build consequential companies.

Our commitment is to lead your first round, stay in the trenches, and carry the weight with you as you scale. Our portfolio has grown to $35B in equity value with nine unicorns, including two decacorns and one IPO.

Belief

We believe entrepreneurship can be one of the most powerful engines for impact and value creation in the world.

For the last decade, we’ve backed hundreds of founders reinventing and redefining the essential industries that shape daily life and power the global economy.

Our focus areas

Healthcare

Healthcare is being reshaped by three converging forces: the unbundling of traditional models in favor of personalized, outcome-driven care; the rise of AI-native infrastructure enabling value-based and patient-centric systems; and scientific breakthroughs—from CRISPR to AI-powered drug discovery—accelerating the future of diagnostics, therapeutics, and longevity.

We’re backing founders who are fundamentally reinventing how care is delivered, outcomes are achieved, and lives are extended—building a more efficient, effective, and personalized healthcare system.

We were early in: Arvo, Cera, Flourish, Mammoth, Midi, Nimbus, Nirvana, Petal.

Financial Services

The financial stack is being re-architected—powered by AI-native tools, embedded infrastructure, and real-time data. Legacy systems are giving way to intelligent platforms that make finance a seamless layer in every product and workflow—enabling faster, more transparent, and more accessible services.

We’re backing founders rebuilding the system from the ground up—making it more inclusive, efficient, and deeply embedded in the modern economy.

We were early in: Bilt, Bitso*, Groww, Kueski, Nitra, Self, Snappt, Valon.

Industrials

Industrials are undergoing a once-in-a-generation transformation—driven by the reshoring of supply chains, the electrification of everything, and the rise of AI-native infrastructure enabling smarter, faster production. Legacy systems are being rebuilt with real-time data, intelligent automation, and vertically integrated software that connects design, manufacturing, and distribution in a single loop.

We’re backing founders reinventing the physical economy—building a more resilient, responsive, and intelligent industrial backbone for the modern world.

We were early in: Estoca, Farmhand, Kolors, Persona AI, Prima, Somos, Vammo, Voltop.

FAQ

What stage and how much do you invest?

We invest 75% at pre-seed, often partnering with founders at the idea or prototype stage and 25% at seed and seed+, where the bar is much higher. We typically aim for 10% ownership, writing initial checks of $500K–$2M where our average check is $1M, and have reserves to follow-on through the Series A.

Do you lead?

Yes, we prefer to lead or co-lead, building independent conviction behind every investment. That said, we play well with others and are happy to join an existing round.

How many investments do you make per year?

We’re highly selective. Each partner makes 2–3 new investments per year, and each fund has around 20 core investments.

That focus gives us the time and headspace to show up for our founders.

What type of founders do you invest in?

We like to back founders with a rare edge—a deep connection to the problem they are solving, an uncommon skill set, or a lived experience that gives them unfair advantage. We invest where we believe our experience, network, and perspective can meaningfully accelerate your path to scale.

What geographies do you invest in?

We invest primarily in the United States (~80%), where the majority of our portfolio and activity is based.

We also invest selectively across Latin America (~20%), focusing on markets and founders where we have long-standing relationships and deep on-the-ground context.

How do you support your founders?

We understand it takes a village to launch a company and we we work collaboratively across our team to help you succeed. Support starts with a deep relationship with all Actions partners and access to our network of 150+ LPs and Advisors across different domains and geos—we are an extension of your team. We also invest heavily in our founder community, creating deep peer support and running thoughtful events to expand your network and unlock real opportunities.

What’s your process like?

Each partner makes just a few investments per year, so we take the time to get to know you. We have a three-person Investment Committee, but we trust partner conviction—so decisions often sit with the lead partner. Our process can move as fast as 2–3 weeks if we know the space or founder well, but typically takes 4–6 weeks, and longer if needed.

How do I get in touch?

Email us at hello@actions.capital. Intros from our founders, LPs, or friends of the fund always help—but cold emails work too if they’re thoughtful.
